Dr. Bernard K. Rubin
Dr. Rubin has been practicing optometry in Oxnard since 1980. He studied in New York and received his optometric license there as well as his Master of Public Health. Teaching has also been an important aspect of Dr. Rubin's professional carrier. He maintained a faculty position at S.U.N.Y. State College of New York in the late 70's , as well as professorship at Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton. As a long time resident of Ventura County, Dr. Rubin has a true sense of the needs of our vast rural and farming communities. Oxnard families know they can trust Dr. Rubin to provide the best quality eye exams and treatments in a friendly, casual atmosphere.
Dr. Brian Decuir
Dr. Brian DeCuir was born and raised in nearby Fillmore, just minutes away from Oxnard. He attended California State University, Northridge and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1998. Upon graduating from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2002, he earned his Doctorate of Optometry.
Dr. DeCuir has practiced in several offices throughout Ventura County since graduating in 2002. He began his career as a part-time doctor at our office 7 years ago, and now with plenty of experience and having seen thousands of patients, he has returned as our full time optometrist.
During his practice, he has become focused on providing premium eye care specializing in many areas of optometry including custom contact lens fitting, treatment of eye allergies and disease, and the latest in LASIK and cataract technology.
