Dr. Rubin has been practicing optometry in Oxnard since 1980. He studied in New York and received his optometric license there as well as his Master of Public Health. Teaching has also been an important aspect of Dr. Rubin's professional carrier. He maintained a faculty position at S.U.N.Y. State College of New York in the late 70's , as well as professorship at Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton. As a long time resident of Ventura County, Dr. Rubin has a true sense of the needs of our vast rural and farming communities. Dr. Catherine Barker, O.D has been in practice at A Street Optometry for over 5 years. She graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelors in Biology. She earned her doctorate of optometry form Southern California College of Optometry.
